Toward Autonomous Learning: Exploring the Impact of Participating in an Online Second Language Learning Course

چکیده

As online education programs increase their numbers, autonomous learning becomes more necessary to achieve academic success. The present research determines the impact that participating in an course has on students’ language learner autonomy. To quantify this Measuring Instrument for Language Learner Autonomy was applied second and last week of course. By means a paired samples t-test, it confirmed students increased Additionally, specific behaviors changed were revealed be associated with self-regulated learning. Therefore, can asserted participation led level autonomy by increasing frequency related taking charge own process.
